PREVIEW EXCERPTS from LGA:
There is no way that "liberty and freedom" can survive in a country, (or world), which has already been consumed and overpowered by its lusts of greed, power and immorality, (general ungodlessness),which they have cultivated, perpetuated, and will not repent of, and therefore compels the governments of the same, (which are under the same addictions), to attempt control of the situation, though it be too late, even for the engineers of this "runaway train", to prevent its inevitable crash, (including those from a well intentioned spiritual perspective), for these events are as necessary and predetermined to accomplish God's purposes as was our Lord's crucifixion- and though we sweat drops of blood as tears, sometimes there is just no other way, even for God Himself, to rescind what He has ordained and promised; eg "The soul that sinneth, it shall die","He became sin for us". It only remains, that some group of people become the scapegoat, (as were the Jews in Nazi Germany), and be determined by the system as the cause of the problems, (When in actuality they were the only solution, as were the Christians at the end of the Roman empire), and therefore causes the base nature of the creature to manifest itself against what is holy, in favor of their predisposed desire to maintain their iniguity and not retain a knowledge of God, so that they might do whatsoever their reprobate hearts desire
Excerpt from The Last Great Awakening by JWS
“The Gospel is:
SALVATION by FAITH (Belief) in the TRUTH-
which is that: GOD, (in the flesh-) JESUS CHRIST, (born of a virgin),
LOVED us, gave HIMSELF for us, and ROSE AGAIN, according to the scriptures-
anything else one is trusting in for salvation, (more or less than the truth), is built on a LIE (fabricated by the Devil)
and faith or belief in a LIE can not and does not save- but can only lead to DAMNATION!
I Cor: 15/3,4 II Cor.: 5/19, 11/ 3 Gal: 1/8 Col 1/19
What is truth? "Truth is what ACTUALLY was/is/or will be- and/or the perfect and accurate account or manifestation thereof (as personified/incarnated in Jesus Christ)"
God doesn't have an "Opinion", "Point of view", or "Perspective", (as we do with our muddied water minds, He has ABSOLUTE KNOWLEDGE of the ABSOLUTE TRUTH that is a constant, unchanging and solid like a rock.
Don't say- "There is nothing too hard for God", but rather- "there is nothing hard for God", for with a single word He creates an entire universe! ("If God be for us who can be against us" "All things are possible to them that believe")
"There's a place for praise but this church needs to grow up! into the substance and meat of the gospel- Christianity is not all celebration, nor is it all self-denial- but this mainstream contemporary church is definitely too far to the left."
"This is no doubt a great and blessed country which we need to be very thankful for, however, if it doesn't soon remember the rock from which it was hewn and the Godly foundation of upon which it was built, and return to those standards, then it is likewise destined to plummet into the same cycle of God's judgment as always demonstrated in history."
“Simple living minimizes having anything of monetary value, fear of losing it, coveting after it, and/or misplaced priorities pertaining to it. Possessions therefore should be intrinsically functional, giving no occasion to the flesh, or to be desired thereby. When times worsen, all that the world should be able to take from us is what they need- and therefore what we want to give them anyway- food, clothes, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and even our lives”.
Mat: 6/19-20 I Tim: 6/8
“ (…when you boil it down), anything less than “Eternal security” - is salvation by “works”.
Eph: ch’s 1,2 Rom:10/3 Gal: 5/4
“The greatest manifestation of the Holy Spirit is love, and the greatest demonstration of love- is one’s life laid down for the souls of others John :15/13 Mark: 8/36
(Foreign words in todays "Christians" vocabulary: SACRIFICE and SELF-DENIAL)
“Man’s works- neither good nor bad, contribute neither to save nor condemn him- only faith (in the truth), which redeems, or unbelief which retains him lost.” ROM: 3/10 6/23
Likewise, effect contributes no additional power to cause, (nor provides any place for boasting, spiritually speaking, as it is ALL and ONLY to the glory of the one alone who is worthy, even JESUS CHRIST”. James 2 I John
“GENUINE (saving) FAITH (belief) = (always) produces good works. (e.g.repentance> confession> baptism> fruits of the Spirit>righteousness (victory over sin)> love for the brethren> the lost, and so on towards perfection, (“cause and effect) BELIEF=indwelling of the Spirit=CHANGE), (OR otherwise Genuine FAITH DOES NOT really EXIST (dead)” James2:20
"If a person doesn’t want to talk about their faith- it’s probably because they don’t have any” Mat 10/33
Why should this paradox be true? That the ultimate possible joy one might experience- could only be produced by salvation from an equally horrible sorrow?
I have heard one say about a previous mate, "I hate that person" and at the same time say they love the child produced from that relationship?
Question: “If we “lead someone to Christ”- is a goat turned into a sheep, or were we used to help find a lost sheep and lead them to the shepherd?” John 10/27
“The greatest thing that you can do for, or give your children, is the goal and vision to receive the heavenly crown- ( “Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter ye into the joy of the Lord”) Mark:8/36 Mat: 25/21
Why do we startle? Why does an oncoming vehicle crossing the center line right in front of us- scare us? Why do people fear death? "Because it's an unknown" (?) So is tomorrow- but that doesn't scare me. Well, let me ask you a different question altogether than. Why should someone fear the possibility of being sentenced to a tortuous prison? "Because it would probably be an extended period of time in captivity (Deprivation of freedom), boredom, uselessness, loss of pleasures etc and or pain." So what could there possibly be about the great "unknown" (Death), that would/could or should worry someone? Would the "bottom-line" answer and reason really have to be (If we're willing to face it)- That man fears death because potentially the result might be a same or similar as prison? In other words, Is the fear of death (common to all) actually the fear of judgment or God?
I think probably so- unless you can offer a better answer?
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans, chapter 8:1
The Preceding are excerpts from "The Last Great awakening" by JWSelby
“AS MANY AS I LOVE I REBUKE AND CHASTEN BE ZEALOUS THEREFORE AND REPENT... HE THAT OVERCOMETH SHALL BE CLOTHED IN WHITE RAIMENT, AND I WILL NOT BLOT OUT HIS NAME FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE… HE THAT HATH AN EAR LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING TO THE CHURCHES”
By: Jesus Christ as recorded in Revelations 3:5-20 (paraphrased)
